The transaction strengthens the Spanish group’s industrial position in a market shaped by electrification and the energy transition, in a symbolic year marking its 80th anniversary.
The Spanish industrial group ESTAMODE, which specializes in the manufacture of magnetic cores for electric motors and generators, has finalized the acquisition of the Italian company STEMA TECH, a firm with more than 50 years of experience. The transaction represents a new step in its strategy for international growth and industrial consolidation in Europe.
Founded in 1946 in Zaragoza, ESTAMODE has established an outstanding track record in the metal stamping sector and the production of high-precision magnetic cores, becoming a leading player in the Spanish and European industrial landscape. Its growth has been marked by diversification and an increasing international focus, with exports accounting for a significant portion of its revenue.
For its part, STEMA TECH develops technical solutions related to the design, manufacture, and maintenance of dies and tooling, where precision in setup and quality in execution are critical to maximizing product lifespan and facilitating maintenance in demanding industrial environments.
With this acquisition, the group strengthens its position in the European market amid the structural expansion of industrial electrification, electric mobility, and the development of energy infrastructure. The transaction will enable the group to expand its industrial base, incorporate complementary technical expertise, and consolidate its presence in Italy, one of Europe’s leading hubs for electric motor manufacturing.
The transaction is aimed at enhancing the group’s service level while fully respecting the commercial independence and customer relationships of both companies. It will enable increased operational efficiency, expand the portfolio of technical solutions, and strengthen the supply chain in Southern Europe, thereby bolstering the group’s presence in larger-scale international projects.
A Pivotal Year: 80th Anniversary and Expansion
The 2026 fiscal year also marks a milestone for ESTAMODE, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary, consolidating its evolution from a family-owned business in Aragon to an international industrial player specializing in high-value-added electromagnetic solutions.
“A new phase is beginning, one we approach with respect for the history and legacy built over decades. Our goal is to continue developing this industrial heritage, strengthen our professionalism, and grow alongside our teams and customers, ensuring continuity and a bright future,” said Jorge Beschinsky, CEO of ESTAMODE.
The market for components for electric motors and generators is experiencing a period of growth driven by the energy transition and the demand for greater efficiency. In this environment, technological specialization and industrial scale are key to competing on a global level.
ESTAMODE maintains close ties with the Aragonese business community, where it was founded and remains headquartered. The company actively participates in sector-specific initiatives such as the Aragon Automotive and Mobility Cluster (CAAR), on whose Board of Directors its CEO, Jorge Beschinsky, serves, reinforcing the company’s commitment to industrial development and the competitiveness of the Aragonese business ecosystem.
